Crap.

Gotta start work at 8am tomorrow. Man I’m terrified. That means I should go to bed soon. :S Same again for Tuesday. Weo.

Hunter trip was good, only 20 odd people went but it was fun regardless, a little more intimate, you might say. I didn’t buy any wines as I’m trying to be a bit tight for the moment, until I work out what I’m doing with my HECS with dad. Everyone else I went with got some goods though, so I’ll hopefully scab some of it another time.

I managed to say sober the whole time, not once succumbing to the evil that is wine-abuse. :D Not after last year, Christ…

Saw TISM on Saturday with , after a rare all-you-can-eat dinner at Pizza Hut on George Street. $12 isn’t bad value, but the soft serve machine was broken. :( I didn’t over eat either, so that’s a good thing… Especially when it’s so easy when there’s just pizza and crap everywhere for you to scoff down!

The concert was mad, as I knew it would be. The guys played a few new songs off the album but mostly stuck to the tried and tested classics. The whole theme for the concert was a parody of Australian Idol, complete with three judges sitting at a desk on the stage for most of the show, sometimes getting a chance to speak after a “contestant” (some random girls hanging around off stage) would perform the chorus of the previous song. This usually resulted in the judge dropping the name of the next song to be performed by the band. It was all pretty amusing and joyfully over the top.

Their audience participation was even better than the last time I saw them, twice bringing people on to the stage with them to dance around for a song, or even sing it. On top of that, the four guys not playing instruments came out in to the crowd numerous times, wandering through the mosh pit and even right up to the back of the room to get the crowd dancing with them. Two came right in front of Lou and I, I managed to slap them both in the guts before one of them grabbed her on the shoulder! Needless to say we’re obviously both better people from the experience. >_>

I should also mention just how many stage dives the members attempted, much to the main roadie’s dismay (who was already shitty someone belted the shit out of a microphone stand and bent it) as he tried to pull them all back on to the stage. Some shithead in the crowd managed to pull off one of their masks and as expected, it was just some old fart underneath who wasn’t recogniseable… Man I hate people trying to pull off their masks, it’s so retarded.

Anyway, the diatribe was good but very short; the encore was a bit over 15 minutes and their whole set was just under 90 minutes all up. The support act that we saw (Dos Didos) weren’t particularly entertaining, apparently fascinated by the concept of hard cocks and fucking people up the arse but with a random political song chucked in to make them appear totally lacking in direction. Maybe I’m just corrupted but vulgar lyrics in songs don’t have much shock value for me, they’re simply boring when there’s no focus/humour/anything interesting about the pieces.

Hmm. I’m bored. Bleh. Frustrated at our CoD as well. Meh.

Hope I wake up tomorrow.

Eyesore.

I caught the virus dad has in his eye. Not sure how. My right eye is now half shut (although I can see out of it fine), weeping a bit of goo now and then, and generally looks red and puffy. Juicy.

Lou went down to Melbourne today to see SFK’s last show before they go overseas for a year or so… The SMSs she just sent me indicate she had a blast, and even hung out with Clint the drummer for a while when he was pissed. I’m sure she’ll write a livejournal post about 500 metres long about the experience. hehe.

Lou’s little bro, Andrew, has been getting in to CoD now that I’ve shared my CD-key with him. Little kent should just buy it. He’s doing pretty well for a noob, too! :O Funny hearing him on ventrilo… Hmm.

WineSoc dinner was good, Sheena talked me in to leaving after the dinner, so we took Lou with us in the taxi (as you do :/). I kind of wanted to stay out though, but I liked the idea of having someone to make the trip home with. In the end the taxi (City -> Gordon -> Pennant Hills -> Eastwood) cost $90… I paid $40. >< Damn it. Kind of shitty about how that turned out. Oh well. Stupid Sheena with her work meetings and being scared of Byrne and living near my place but taking a $35 detour for the privilege. Gah!

Work wasn't even too bad tonight, finished around 11:45… Uni was ok too, got two of my course texts. The NETS3007 one was out of stock. Great preparation on the Co-Op's part there. Even Pork turned up in my ISYS3015 lecture… Poor bastard. I wouldn't wish this course on anyone. :/ Oh well.

Hmm.

Boring!

Uh…

*HUGS* TOTAL!

Get hugs of your own

Yeah, hug me, bitch.

Spoke to Krystal again today for the first time in ages. Woot. Hoping she’s still online when MSN stops having maintenance. gg.

This hugs thing looks so gay… Still it is something to whinge about.

Went out for a wolf meet last night, only 3 others showed up. Still I had fun. Everyone else is just a soft cock.

I really need a scourer thingy for the dishes. So annoying. Bah.

Let’s see… It’s almost Christmas. Wow, I have no presents for anyone again. Fucking Christmas.

I need to buy presents and get my international driver’s license and maybe get some vaccinations before I go overseas and god knows what else. Who needs money, right?

ET is boring me, warez is boring me… It’s a huge gaming slump at the moment.

Hopefully I can get some shoutcasts in for GameStah to tide me over while I wait for something else to play that I’ll really get in to. Far Cry could be good, but my Spider-Sense tells me it will have shitty MP. Let’s hope I’m wrong.

Yawn. I’m hungry.

Oops.

Forgot about this thing for a while… Well, I’ve been thinking to write for a day or three, just haven’t bothered.

So bored.

I’m reading A Time To Kill. Maybe I should keep reading it instead of sitting around bored.

I sold my copy of FFXI to Dozer, to aid him in his lack of life. ;) Even express posted it and everything! :P

Been hitting up BitTorrent‘s hardcore this last week or so. Downloaded a few games and apps… Also getting a shitload of Spider-Man comics off it. Cool, huh?

Speaking of file-sharing, been abusing WinMX of late as well. Juicy mp3 action.

Lou had the shits with me earlier because I forgot to get her the Sunday Telegraph with a Something For Kate interview on it. I didn’t even remember until 5pm when all the newsagents shut. Oh well. She’s getting a copy off someone anyway.

Oh yeah, bad luck Saddam.

Let’s see, what else.

Had my work christmas party last week, was pretty good fun, bar the shittiest public transport experience of all time. I didn’t get in to bed until 9:15am the next morning, still half drunk fortunately, otherwise I could have been real shitty.

Bought Lou a present for her birthday, some perfume thingy. Conned her in to buying me a Hulk limited edition DVD box set. Looks bonar to me.

Lloyd hasn’t come round at all now that he’s back with Eri, barely even messages me or Ross on MSN any more. Nice to know when you’re just a back up… Apparently he’s been working 40 hours a week though so I guess it must be impossible for him to do anything. :P I suppose he’s still not as soft as Mr Frank-OMG-I-HAVE-A-JOB-WITH-EARLY-HOURS-I-MUST-SLEEP-AT-9PM-Larkin. Hrm.

Good old MajikShoe has just invited me back to Land of Angels for the new GameArena 4v4 RTCW tourney.

I so own at hypertext.

I forget if I said I re-enrolled at uni. That should be riveting. I hope I spelt that right. I’m really keen on finishing my degree, and trying to save up some money in the mean time (going part time) then try and move overseas to like Germany or Sweden for a few years… Then maybe move on to some other countries out of interest. Lou said she was keen too… Wowee.

Looks like she’s been updating her LiveJournal too. :O Hack it up.

Hmm.

Fuck you summer weather.

*edit*

I’m going to the UAE in February, with Lou. Gonna see my dad’s cousin, Grant, over there. He took mum around there on her holiday and apparently it has bonar shopping and shizzle. Woot. Gonna stay in Singapore for two nights on the way home as well… She’s staying in Thailand for a few days before I meet her over there. Fun fun.

Also, my Microsoft Intellimouse v3 is dying… Have to keep re-plugging it in because the lights keep going out. :( Using my silly old Belkin Nostromo n30 ball mouse instead… :/ It came with the creative, yet dopey n50 SpeedPad… Man that thing would have owned if it worked properly… Well, maybe not owned but it could have been cool.’

By the way, Cam is a lazy bastard.

Redknob's Emotional Counselling (and MMORPG abuse) Inc.

Yeah I’m just everybody’s favourite shoulder to cry on at the moment. I dunno if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I assume it’s a good thing… Right?

Lou’s 21st birthday tomorrow! Wooohooo she’s going to be an old lady! Wooo!

Her party on Saturday night was pretty fun. Black & white theme while she wore red. Red is the best colour, I felt like I was missing out if I couldn’t wear it. :( heh

She had a swank dress though.

Hmm I really should start using my digital camera more. Methinks I shall!

Oh yeah at the party someone flogged Laura’s handbag, and made off with $30 and her shitty 18 month old bent phone… However they left the SIM card and her wallet and everything else in the bag and stashed it around the side of the house. THE GAME IS AFOOT!

Damn arsehole robbers.

I’m bludging the first few hours of work again, in my typical fashion. I really should stop going to bed so late so that I don’t mind getting up early to go to work, but meh, that’s no fun.

One day I’ll condition myself to be tough… Or maybe I’ll just change my work hours around some. Who knows. I don’t mind working that early, it’s just getting up that’s the hard part. Grr.

Tofu’s talked me in to playing Final Fantasy XI, another MMORPG. He’s also gotten me to spend ridiculous amounts of money on There. On top of that, he inspired me to download the buggy Diabloesque MMORPG Priston Tale.

*shakes fist*

I should probably stop talking to him, it’ll save me money, time and bandwidth… Argh.

Oh and I even tried out Puzzle Pirates. Cute but it seems overly annoying for someone like me. Stupid lame puzzles. :(

Lloydie has been staying over the last few days, Ross is back on Friday. Apparently he has the Hulk DVD for me direct from China… I wonder if it’s going to be a shonky rip or from a cinema or something. Hmm…

I really need to cut my nails… I should probably get another haircut soon too, along with having a shave… Then again where’s the fun in that?

Keep on up!

Damn Cam has made me feel guilty now that he has his own journal… Of course it’s not as pro as mine. :D

Hmm let’s see, what’s happened of late.

Friday night saw Kirsty’s 21st, was an 80s theme… I couldn’t find any damn 80s style clothes (I was going to go Richard Simmons style with the funky exercise attire) but I scored 2 shitty singlets from a Chinese junk shop… Yay? At least the CDs I made were good… It’s always nice having 20 gigs of mp3s to pick the best 80s party songs from.

On Saturday I trekked up to Newcastle with Ian (SyntaxTerror) for ex (or inactive as he says) dotmaen Jonny-Hero’s (delerium) 21st… Caught up with Scotty (tofu) as well, then went out and partied on the town… Christ I even cut up the dance floor a little. Look out world, I’m out and about and I’m GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVY!

Or not. Hrm…

haha
Some gay dude tried to buy Jonny a drink. ^_^

Bummed around in Newcastle on Sunday arvo with them, cept Scott cuz he was playing There most likely… :o There’s some funky Sydney inner-westesque places in that town. Jolly good.

Ross’ mum is staying with us again, they’re both off to Shanghai or something tomorrow. House to myself! Woot! I’m gonna be so hungry. :/

1500/256 ADSL came in on the 20th. Bonar. So sweet getting near-cable download speeds again. :D

Anyway that’s enough blabbing for the meantime.
