Hi.

Due to my computer being ratshit ever since I got home from my trip, I’ve been putting off posting in here until I got it back from the shop.

Two weeks later, I still have no PC. Well done to the repairman. Apparently, I should be getting it back tomorrow afternoon, but I’m not particularly confident after all this time.

Anyway, I was intending to post all about my trip to Bahrain, UAE, Oman and Singapore. Instead I don’t know if I can be stuffed now. Basically, I loved it. Lots of interesting things to see, do, taste and touch. :)

I also have to upload pictures from my trip off my camera on to the PC.

I guess I’ll try and do it all properly when I get it back.

For the mean time:

  • We’ve been winning our CoD matches on the GA ladder. We passed a disputed result as well after both myself and dozer’s demos were viewed by a GameOp.
  • I miss my PC.
  • I went to Lou’s SFK friend’s picnic in Parramatta park yesterday, then saw her friend in a little production called Four Play at the Riverside theatre.
  • We’re going back on Wednesday night to see Puppetry of the Penis.
  • Uni has started, I’m going ok. Driving in mostly.
  • I’ve cut back my hours at work to accomodate for uni.
  • Ross owes me $430 in rent. Other people owe me $140 all up in winesoc tickets.
  • Winesoc dinner at the Little Snail is on this Thursday.

I think that’s enough for now.

Vanessa lent me a book to read on the plane… Wonder if I’ll like it. Apparently it’s very popular. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho… I’ll let you know. :P

Been having Subway a lot lately… Mmm so tasty. :)

Lou just rang me from somewhere overseas, apparently there’s these cool Spider-Man Chuck Taylor All Stars she found, but they weren’t big enough for me. :( I wonder if I can order them from somewhere… I’m gonna go look.

I leave in a few days for my trip. :o

Been getting emails from Lou, seems she’s having fun. Also doing a few fun things of various descriptions it seems. :o

I’ve started downloading the Smallville episodes that I’ve missed out on these last few weeks. The order that they’ve finished downloading has been backwards though, so it’s a little confusing to follow the story since I can’t be bothered waiting for them all to arrive before I watch them. :)

Also got NFL2004. It’s pretty cool. Takes about an hour to do a 20 minute match though. :/ Gaybo.

Work in the morning, I’m so sick of it. Meh. Hopefully the holiday will do me good. I think it’s really the hot weather and late nights that are hurting me the most though… Although I’m getting pretty bored at work anyway. I suppose everyone does though.

Can’t wait til Thursday, just wanna get away for a while, and hear Lou’s stories about the naughty stuff she’s been up to. :P I hate it when I get left out with what she’s doing, then have to wait to get the details as well. Guess it’s my guardian instinct. :P

Maybe I should rename to Clarke Kent!

Stupid car died again. Drained the guts out of the battery. wd. It’s either the alternator or the fan belt, my parents have speculated. Great news. Something like that at least…

Lou left this arvo, I saw her off then that’s when my car died, right after her parents left with her. Took 2 hours for dad to turn up and take me home, instead of 30 minutes like he said. Real cool.

Along with that, Ryde council has decided to make one entire side of Lyon Park road a no parking zone (the street that I work on). It wouldn’t be a problem if there wasn’t already a severe parking shortage in that area, so now with an extra 30-40 cars without anywhere to park it’ll be really really fun going to work.

To top it all off, I just realised I wont be able to play our semi and grand final for ET (assuming we win the semi of course, which I believe we will) because I’ll be overseas.

Now I have to get up at 6am or some bullshit so dad can take me over to my broken down car (we had no choice but to leave it near Lou’s), jump start it with the old, charged up battery, and get it back home so someone can fix it.

WOW WHAT A GREAT WEEK!

Oh, I suppose the only good thing that happened today was that the people at work decided to have a belated party for me. Someone brought in a chocolate cake and I scored $100 in vouchers for Macquarie shopping centre! :O

The card was cool, too. :)

Belated at least.

Last Tuesday (omg a week ago!) I turned 21! :O

Was a boring birthday, no one at work remembered (hurrah :/) and didn’t get too many sms ?messages (is that how you say it?) to my phone, or even phone calls. Loulou remembered though. :)

The Triple J Hottest 100 (on the 25th like I was whinging about) was faget for the most part. Gay Bar didn’t even break the top 20 from memory. :(

Been playing Call of Duty a lot recently, and finally getting some ET pracs in. Hurrah.

Also scored a router for my birthday from one of my godparents :D so finally I don’t have to leave dad’s noisy beast running to get online.

Oh yeah, my Spider-Man birthday cake ($300! :O) was so leet. Gonna get pics up soon. Man it was sooooooo bonar. Lime flavoured too. ;)

Let’s see… Called a sickie for work today, well not really a sickie just said I wont be coming in. I don’t know what that qualifiers under. Honesty? I don’t know… I rarely ever call saying I’m sick if I want a day off… Besides, I’ve been working my arse off at SDS this last week and I think I deserve some play time. :)

I really should go to bed now and get some rest. Hmm. I was thinking the same thing last night, then I played Final Fantasy 7 for a couple of hours instead. BitTorrents are good. :D

I got a reasonable amount in to FF7’s storyline when I first played it, but then it had a bug in it that stopped me progressing any further and I had to give up. :( bgz

Salesi sits on this desk when I’m on the PC and he’s lonely. It’s so cute having him curled up and snoring away right in front of me. Such a cool cat. :D

Mmm. Think I might look up some old FF sites. ;o

We lost to Y*Y 2-1 on Radar. ><

Once again having absolutely no proper practise before the game has fucked us up. We came so close many times but kept fucking ourselves up due to noob mistakes.

Hopefully we'll get our act together and actually do some training before the game against another team (how unusual, I know) and beat the buggers once and for all in the GA final.

Another match, this time for GA, against afx on Goldrush. We'd better smack these buggers around as well just to show we're still up there.

I'm just so frustrated that we've lost to Y*Y in both our last two games against them now, and both times we've run different strats with people in different positions without praccing at ALL. I just KNOW we should have beaten them both times, and we've only lost simply because of those reasons: lack of practise of the new strat to learn the nuances etc and how effective it is, and lack of practise in our new positions. We haven't even been able to get a team to play against for weeks and it shows. We're rusty and out of practise and it shits me to tears that it has to happen now at the end of the season when we're playing the most pracced-up and trained team in Australian ET (which used to be us) and only JUST losing to them… Yes, only just, and we haven't even been praccing.

FRUSTRATING.

So yeah, Y*Y better watch out, because when we get our groove on and actually dedicate some time to ET again like we used to, we're going to roll them so hard the game will be over in under 20 minutes in the grand final.

Funny shit.

Yeah I thought I’d chuck something else in again, since it’s been so long between regular updates… Not that they were that regular anyway.

CoD is going alright, I’m getting the hang of the guns in it more now, along with how to move around properly to suit their use. Can’t stand playing SD mode in pubs though. TDM all the way. :D

AussieClans ET final tomorrow (well, tonight technically) night… Against Y*Y. Should be fun. The dotmaens haven’t been taking ET as seriously these last few weeks/months… Considerably less pracs and pub time and less interest over all. Still, it’d be nice to put on a good match and get back at Y*Y after they had the penny drop their way in our last match on Battery in the GA ladder.

For some reason, triple j are breaking tradition this year and having their hottest 100 on the 25th of January instead of on the 26th, Australia day.

Regardless, the regular crew will be having a little BBQ and pool party at Lou’s place, according to our own tradition. :)

Well yeah, moved home last Thursday. Good to be back, with money.

Formatted PC the other day, already got crap on it again. heh

Bought Call of Duty yesterday, looks like we’re moving in to that for the mean time (“we’re” being dot).

Scotty wants me to add him to my LJ friends list. What a special boy he must be then if I do it… I guess I shall.

Oh yeah, I’m 21 on Tuesday. Fark. :O

Happy New Years!

Got off work 15 mins early… Sooo hard to concentrate… I just wanted to get out of there.

Dunno if I’ve mentioned it but Ross has gone on his holiday so I have the place to myself! Woohoo, feels more cozy already. :P

Hope tonight is good, we’re going to Byrne’s… I wonder if they’ll have some Aussie Pie delicacies for us. :O
